I am a highly experienced, personable tutor that has recently relocated to the Bay Area after graduating from GW Law in Washington DC. I am really good with kids, and enthusiastic about learning. It gives me great joy when students take pride in their work and develop good habits independently. I am happy to provide references upon request. I have experience teaching both children and adults. Language Skills: I speak Spanish well and comfortably. I received a 5 on the Spanish Language AP which enabled me to start Spanish classes in college at an advanced level. During college, I spent close to a year volunteering at Scott Lane Elementary as a teaching assistant in a bilingual classroom, teaching in both Spanish and English. Honors Received: AP Scholar with Distinction for excellence in Advanced placement exams, National Merit Semi-Finalist, Departmental Spanish Award for excellence in language studies, Semi-Finalist award winner in poetry writing contest for students in entire New York metropolitan area.
